After a decade of engineering experience and YEARS building my professional services firm, I’ve nailed it down to a few key products and software.

I shouldn’t even be telling you this because it’s going to make you hyper competitive and you might even steal job offers from me.
But I’m just sick and tired of job seekers not getting the jobs that they want.

It’s soul sucking.

Recommended Office Equipment
First off, you need to have the right tools and equipment to both apply to jobs, but also build your skillset such that you can land a high paying job. High paying jobs don’t just come to you, unlike what other gurus will tell you.
A high quality home office set up will pay you dividends.
A thousand bucks or two for a nice set up that will allow you to do high quality work is worth it.

Now that you’ve have the equipment, your resume is in tip top shape, and you’re automating your job search…
You will start seeing emails for interviews pop up in your inbox.
If you’re not seeing interviews in your inbox, you’re doing something wrong.
You need the right keywords, formatting, and technical hard skills in your resume.
You also need to showcase your business impact, results, and accomplishments.
This is done so by adding NUMBERS on your resume.
Quick rule of thumb – for every 100 job applications you send out, you should get about 1 interview or so. These are the rough numbers from much of the data I have gathered in the job market.
